Assisting Widows And Orphans In Zimbabwe
Dr. David and his wife Linda Palacios have been partnering with this community in Harare, Zimbabwe since 2012 when Linda first went on mission to serve. She fell in love with the community and after returning to the US, found sponsors for approximately 30 kids to attend school who could not afford to.
After meeting Dr. David and getting married, they continued Linda’s work with serving in the community providing pain resolution therapy with prolozone to over 70 members of the community.
Dr. David and Linda have partnered with this community given their love for orphans and widows as well as their ability to take what is given to them and multiply it. Since 2015, Dr. David and Linda have donated over $350,000.00 to this community for various purposes, including the construction of sustainable greenhouses and the purchase of their new orphanage and home in 2020.
As the community has been able to become more self sufficient they have expanded their projects to include 60 pigs for pork meat, 58 goats for breeding, the construction of more greenhouses in Mhondoro (a more rural community), 10,000 cabbages per seasonal yield, tomatoes for sale and to feed the local community, 10 acres of maize, ground nuts, African sweet potatoes and beans, as well as starting chicken and turkey farming.
Dr. David and Linda continue to sponsor 30 kids a year to attend school and are excited for future projects to continue to support this incredible community.
